Inhoud programma
In October, we will begin by sharing some highlights from the Dzogchen Mandala Retreat held with Patrick Gaffney in Lerab Ling and online. Many people have since said how powerful the retreat was and we hope you will find it helpful to revisit some of the key teachings and instructions from the retreat again.

And then, beginning in November every month until next June, and then again from September 2024 to June 2025, we all embark on a two-year programme focusing on Tsik Sum Ne Dek, Hitting the Essence in Three Words. You might be asking why we have chosen to focus on this.

This is the main practice of trekcho in Dzogchen and a text that Sogyal Rinpoche taught many times and at great length. Rinpoche found this short text ideal for introducing the view, meditation and action of Dzogchen to those who are new to the Dzogchen teachings so those who have recently joined the Dzogchen Mandala will find it the best way to become familiar with this tradition. At the same time, these teachings need to be re-visited after one has engaged with the Dzogchen preliminaries and one is ready to engage with the main practice. Therefore Tsik Sum Ne Dek is uniquely appropriate for all levels of experience.

We have the text and many commentaries fully translated into English and other languages so it is really accessible for study. In addition, we have teachings from other masters to help clarify certain points. Those of you who followed the previous course on Tsik Sum Ne Dek should know that this time we will tip the balance towards practising and assimilating the teachings as we go along rather than on conceptual study alone. In this we will follow the advice of our lineage masters who regard this text as a guide for practice experience and not as a treatise that is to be studied in a scholarly way.

We moedigen je aan het tot een prioriteit te maken mee te doen aan de Dzogchenmandala-dagen! Het liefst live en anders op zoom (inloggen en naar beneden scrollen, naar een wit blok links op de pagina).
